Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Hampton Gay and Poyle, Footpath 237/9 – Closure

Date of closure: 19 November 2025

Date of Order: 1/12/2025

Coming into force: 9/12/2025

This Order continues in force a closure by emergency Notice on 19 November introduced because of an unauthorised waste deposit affecting the right of way. Clearance works are being planned but the anticipated timescale is yet to be agreed. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the section of the Footpath 9 [237/9]. Footpath closed from the Bicester Road, Gosford to the East side of the A34. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath. There is no alternative off road route. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The order will remain in force for 6 months. (Ref: T17081/RMF)
