RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Maesteg wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r cyfyngiad er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd gwaith polion ac nad yw’r lôn gerbydau’n ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau tra bod y gwaith yn mynd rhagddo. Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 13/01/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:30am a 15:00pm ar 13/01/2026. Atodlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson achosi i unrhyw gerbyd yrru ar hyd 10 metr o Heol Llan, Maesteg y tu allan i Harpen House. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd Llan Road, A4063 Maesteg Road, Llan Road ac i’r gwrthwyneb.Ni ellir rhoi mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu na’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016. BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(LLAN ROAD, MAESTEG) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Maesteg in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. The restriction is in the interest of public safety due to polling works and there is insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during the works. The Order will come into force on the 13/01/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:30am and 15:00pm on 13/01/2026. Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along 10 meters of Llan Road, Maesteg outside Harpen House. The alternative route for vehicles is via Llan Road, A4063 Maesteg Road, Llan Road and vice versa. Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
