Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (DEEPDALE AVENUE AND DEIGHTON AVENUE, OLD MOAT) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2025 (originally advertised as the CITY OF MANCHESTER (DEEPDALE AVENUE, DEIGHTON AVENUE AND MAULDETH ROAD WEST, OLD MOAT) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2024) under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce: NO WAITING AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME:
Deepdale Avenue, south side from 10m east of Deighton Avenue in a westerly direction to 10m west of Deighton Avenue. Deighton Avenue, both sides from Deepdale Avenue in a southerly direction for 10m.The Order was made on 5th December 2025 and will come into effect on 15th December 2025. A copy of Order and the plan are available for inspection at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 5th December 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
