St Johns Walk, Bridlington - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ST JOHNS WALK, BRIDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC AND SUSPENSION OF
THE ONE WAY SYSTEM) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order
the effect of which is to prohibit any person from
causing any vehicle to proceed/proceeding along and
suspension of the one way system on - Road closure -
part of St Johns Walk, Bridlington from its junction with
St. Johns Avenue northbound for approximately
80 metres and Suspension of the one way system on
the remaining part of St. Johns Walk, Bridlington to its
junction with Brett Street commencing
6 January 2026 until 7 January 2026. The reason for
the closure is to enable the proposed St Johns Walk,
Bridlington carriageway maintenance works, to be
carried out and completed in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed
within two days. The alternative route for traffic
affected by the Order is via: N/A no through road due
to road closure. The road will be closed to all through
traffic but access will be maintained for residents,
emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
The Order will commence 6 January 2026 and continue
in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until
the works which it is proposed to carry out have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.
