PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or waiting in that length of Tennyson Avenue at
Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works to carriageway resurfacing are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Adwick Road, Princess Road,
Harlington Road. Those residents and businesses directly affected by the works are to be notified of the scheme to
include access arrangements.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the
provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Any contravention of the prohibitions or
restrictions imposed by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and the subsequent removal of
a vehicle.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including the 28th day of February 2026 or until the works which

SCHEDULE
Location
Tennyson Avenue, Mexborough from its junction with Adwick Road to its junction with Harlington Road.
Dates and Times
08:00hrs 12th January 2026 until 18:00hrs 16th January 2026.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date
although all closures to be completed by the 28th February 2026.
The road will reopen daily.

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those lengths of the C22 Ludwell Hill, C22 Doncaster Road,
C22 Barnburgh Lane at Barnburgh in the City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works for the provision of specialist
ultrascreed patching are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Hangman Stone Road,
Blacksmiths Lane, Barnsley Road, Doncaster Road, Dearne Valley Parkway, High Street, Barnburgh Lane and vice
versa.

Inn)
2) C22 Doncaster Road, Barnburgh from its junction with Doncaster Road and Ludwell Hill (Crown Inn) to its junction
with High Street
3) C22 Barnburgh Lane, Barnburgh from its junction with High Street to its Borough Boundary with Barnsley
Dates and Times
07:00hrs 5th January 2026 until 19:00hrs 31st March 2026.
The roads will be closed on up to 5 separate occasions, with each occasion lasting no longer than 3 consecutive
days. Works may occur on a weekend. This process is weather dependant and as such exact dates for each location
cannot be given.

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Crawshaw Road at Hexthorpe in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works to repair a collapsed sewer are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access arrangements.

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice
to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Hazel Road Edlington in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works to cable overlay (low voltage) to
excavate to install and joint new cable are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Bungalow Road, Auburn Road.
