What is happening?

Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for new electrical connections are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this
notice.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 1st day of February 2026 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said roads have been

SCHEDULE
Location
1) Close Christ Church Road, Doncaster from its junction with
Netherhall Road in a south- easterly direction to its junction with
Park Terrace.
2) Close Park Terrace, Doncaster from its junction with Christ
Church Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 50 meters.
3) Suspend the One Way Order on Park Terrace, Doncaster to
allow for residential access only.
4) Suspend the One Way Order on Park Road, Doncaster to
allow for residential access only.
5) Suspend the One Way Order on Park Road Back Road,
Doncaster to allow for residential access only.
Dates and Times
On or after 00:0hrs 12th January 2026 until 23:59hrs 1st
February 2026.
The road closure on Park Terrace will be in place on Sundays
only.
Diversion Route
i) Nether Hall Road, East Laith Gate, Thorne Road or Thorne
Road, Broxholme Lane, Netherhall Road
ii) Park Road, East Laith Gate, Thorne Road, Christ Church

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the Trans Pennine trail and the effect will
be to prohibit any Pedestrian or Cyclist from proceeding in that
length of the Trans Pennine Trail Mexborough in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice
from the 5th January 2026.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce to allow the bridge deck to be repaired.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for pedestrians/
cyclists affected by the Order is via Kilners Bridge, Doncaster
Road, and Pastures Road and vice versa.
