What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(STOCKWELL ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Stockwell Road between properties 18-24.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 22 December 2025 until 23 December 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30.
The diversion route is: Church Hill Road, Lloyd Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a pole installation and associated civil works by BT.
