LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(B6601 ROUNDABOUT, OVER KELLET, LANCASTER CITY) (REVOCATION AND 50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 03 December 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1) Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (B6601 Roundabout and Leapers Wood Road., Over Kellet, Lancaster City) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022" insofar as it relates to Item a) of the Schedule.
2) Introduce a 50mph speed limit on B6601 Roundabout, Over Kellet, from its junction with Leapers Wood Road (B6601) for its full circumference.
This Order will come into force on the 15 December 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
