PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MORETON AVENUE & HATELEY DRIVE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:
• · Hateley Drive closed between its junction with Kenilworth Crescent to outside property 1.
• · Moreton Avenue closed between its junction with Hateley Drive to its junction with Kenilworth Crescent.
• · Kenilworth Crescent closed at its junction with Hateley Drive and Moreton Avenue.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 22nd December 2025 until 24th December 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00.
The diversion route is: Bevan Avenue, Kenilworth Avenue, Moreton Avenue or Bevan Avenue, Kenilworth Avenue, Kenilworth Crescent & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway patch repairs by Wolverhampton City Council.
