What is happening?

 THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

BURSEA LANE, HOLME UPON SPALDING MOOR

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding on foot/whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along Bursea Lane, Holme Upon Spalding Moor.

The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed Bursea Lane, Holme Upon Spalding Moor carriageway patching works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Bursea Lane, Drain Lane and Howden Road, Holme Upon Spalding Moor CP, Howdenshire Ward. The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.

The Order will commence 18 December 2025 between 08.00 hours until 15.00 hours and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
