What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION: RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO. _) ORDER 202_- TRO/25/21

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to introduce permit eligibility for residents of Ocean Dr (27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37 & 39), within Controlled Parking Zone N8 (Mon-Fri between 08:30-17:30). Residents will be entitled to purchase two residential permits per household. The cost of a resident parking permit will be as follows. Vehicles registered prior to March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to engine size. Vehicles registered after March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to CO2 emissions.

Details of the draft Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed free of charge, between 9:30 to 15:30 Mon-Fri from 5/12/2025 to 09/01/2026 at Waverley Court Reception or online during the same period at www.edinburgh. gov.uk/trafficorders and www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.Objectors must state their reasons in writing, including their name and address, stating reference TRO/25/21 to Traffic Orders, Place, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG, or by email to TRO.consultations@edinburgh.gov.uk, not later than 09/01/2026.
