Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

The County of Cornwall (St Andrews Road, Par) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par. This prohibition is necessary for annual review of Level Crossing and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th January 2026 to 7th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - St Andrews Road, Par over the whole length of Middleway Level Crossing.

The County of Cornwall (Fore Street, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for works for Capital Footway Scheme and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th January 2026 to 20th February 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 2300, weekdays only.

Road affected - Fore Street, Bod min from junction with Kestenenn to junction with Crockwell Street.

The County of Cornwall (Jetty Street, Mevagissey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mevagissey. This prohibition is necessary for electric wall box replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th January 2026 to 9th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Jetty Street, Mevagissey for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Polgooth. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th January 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Road From Fore Street To Chapel Hill from junction with LowerTrelowth Road to junction with Chapel Hill, Fore Street from junction with Ty-Shute Lane to junction with Road From Fore Street To Chapel Hill, Polgooth.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Camelford. This prohibition is necessary for road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th January 2026 to 7th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Roads affected - High Street, Fore Street, Market Place, Victoria Road, A39 Between Collans Cross And Victoria Road and Layby On A39 Between Collans Cross And Victoria Road for their entire lengths, Camelford.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Lanteglos. This prohibition is necessary for carriageway repairs and resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th January 2026 to 16th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - Road From Junction West Of Whitecross Village Hall To Pont Bottom and Pont Bottom for their entire lengths, Lanteglos.
