(Temporary Speed Limit) Order 2025
On 09 December 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers,made the above-named Order, which imposes a variable speed limit on the lengths of roads listed below.
The speed limit will only come into effect when speed limit signs denoting the reduced speed limit in accordance with Diagram 670 of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016, as amended, are displayed on the affected length of road, on the grounds of works being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
No person shall drive a motor vehicle on any affected length of road at a speed exceeding that denoted by the temporary speed limit signs displayed in accordance with Diagram 670.
The Order commences from 03 January 2026 at 00:01 and will remain in operation until 23.59 hours 03 July 2027.
The Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
On 09 December 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Sheet piling works.
Temporary Road Closure – U13 Aiket Road, Dunlop, For 100m.
The Order commences on 08 January 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 08 January 2026 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 20 March 2026 at 18:00
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services ,residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route
An alternative route will be signed via From the North side of the road closure, travel North East and turn left onto the B706. Travel North West and turn left onto the A736. Travel South West and turn left onto the B778. Travel North East and turn left onto the U13 Aiket Road until meeting the South side of the road closure and Vice versa.

(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
On 09 December 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Water Works.
Temporary Road Closure – Bridgend, Stewarton, From the junction of Holm Street for 100m. Works will be done in sections - full 100m will not be closed at any one time.
The Order commences on 05 January 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 05 January 2026 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 30 March 2026 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Bridgend - Springwell Place - High Street - Main Street -Vennel Street - Holm Street and Vice Versa.
