Leicestershire - Multiple Traffic Notices

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

PRIORY LANE, NEWTON LINFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 20/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching & other highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Benscliffe Rd, Sharpley Hill, Ulverscroft Ln & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 20/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake pipe renewals. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake drainage works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Washbrook Ln, Oaks Rd, Main St, London Rd & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake rebuilding a culvert & replacement of brook railings. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Leicester Rd, Main St, London Rd & vice versa.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Main St, London Rd & vice versa.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 90 days to allow Royal London Mutual Insurance Society to undertake archaeological excavation works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 22/12/2025 and have a maximum duration of 161 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 161 days to allow British Gypsum or their contractors to undertake bridleway drainage works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.
