ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
STATION ROAD, EASTRINGTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Eastrington between 09.00 hours and 15.30 hours commencing 5 January 2026 to allow works for Station Road, Eastrington. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Main Road, Sandholme Road, Blacktoft Grange Road, Old Trough Lane, Mill Lane, Pinfold Street and Station Road, Gilberdyke CP, Eastrington CP, Howdenshire Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
