What is happening?

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD HUMPS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 90A(1) of Part V of the Highways Act 1980 and of all other enabling powers, as part of an existing 20 mph Zone in the Kirkholt area of the Rochdale Borough, intend to construct road humps in the form of speed cushions of dimensions and at the locations referred to in the SCHEDULE below.
A plan showing the locations of road humps so specified and copy of the Statement of Reasons for proposing to construct may be viewed on the Council's website www.rochdale.gov.uk/roads, or by phoning Highways on 0300 303 8879 to request a copy via post.
Any objections or representations regarding the proposal, stating the grounds on which they are made, must be made in writing and forwarded to trafficorders@ rochdale.gov.uk or, alternatively, to Network Management, Floor 2, Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU to reach the Council on or before 5 th January 2026, quoting H60/1541/RHN.
