Archers Close, Perry Common - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Works
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(17088095 ARCHERS CLOSE, PERRY COMMON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding other than in a westbound direction along ARCHERS CLOSE between a point approximately 20m east of its junction with Banton Close and its junction with The Hurstway.
The temporary Order is required to allow utility works to be carried out in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via The Hurstway and Marshmont Way.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 5th January 2026 and will remain in force for a period of 2 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
