What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(JONESFIELD CRESCENT) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along Jonesfield Crescent closed in both directions at its junction with Saint Giles Road and its junction with Brooklands Parade.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months it is anticipated that the road closure will be in place from the 10th December 2025 until the 12th December 2025 (approximately).
The vehicular diversion route is: Jonesfield Crescent, Brooklands Parade and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate new water connection by Severn Trent Water.
