STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2025

The above order made on the 20 November 2025 under Section 119 of the HighwaysAct 1980 will divert that part of public footpath Mirfield 8 having a width of 0.9 metres and shown on the order plan by a bold continuous line commencing on Crossley Lane at pointAat grid reference SE 2076 2170 and proceeding in an east north-easterly direction for approximately 17 metres to point B at grid reference SE 2077 2171 to a new line for public footpath Mirfield 8 with a width of 1.5 metres and shown on the order plan by a bold broken line commencing on Crossley Lane at point C at grid reference SE 2075 2171 and proceeding in a south-easterly then easterly direction via point D for 24 metres to point B at grid reference SE 2077 2171.

Acopy of the order and order plan may also be seen free of charge at Mirfield Library, Eastthorpe Lodge, Huddersfield Rd, Mirfield WF14 8AN during normal opening hours. Copies of the order and order plan may be obtained at standard office copying rates.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Harry Garland, Kirklees Council Legal Services, PO Box 1720, Huddersfield HD1 9ELno later than 08 January 2026. You should quote reference HG/D112-350 and state the grounds on which your objection/representation is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn Kirklees Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with this order.
