Sun Lane, New Alresford, Winchester - Temporary Suspension Of Parking due to construction works

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council, following a TTRN, has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO HAVE PARKING SUSPENDED: that part of Sun Lane between a point approx. 141m north of the entrance to Sun Hill Infant School and a second point approx. 80m north of the entrance to the school 
DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th December 2025 for a period of 18 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be for the full 18 months and in operation for 24 hours a day). 
The parking suspension has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate access for Taylor Wimpey to carry out construction works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: ccsouthern@taylorwimpey.com Taylor Wimpey will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
