What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(MOUNT ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Mount Road from its junction with Manchester New Road for a distance of 45 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order is required to facilitate required BT works within the carriageway.

The Order will be operative from 20.00 hours on the 11th December 2025 until 06:00 hours on the 12th December 2025.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Mount Road, Brierley Drive, Farmway, Manchester New Road and vice versa.
