ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(DAVENTRY ROAD, BADBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Daventry Road, Badby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Daventry Road, Badby from Neneside Close to Pinfold Green.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during post and rail works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A422, A23, A425 and A45.

(THE GREEN, LILBOURNE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of The Green, Lilbourne as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of The Green, Lilbourne from Yelvertoft Road to Chapel Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during broadband installation.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 8th January 2026. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: continue on The Green.

(STATION ROAD & HINTON ROAD, WOODFORD HALSE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Station Road and Hinton Road, Woodford Halse as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Station Road and Hinton Road, Woodford Halse from Hinton Manor Court to Bankside.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during footbridge maintenance works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Phipps Road, Byfield Road, Scriveners Hill, School Street and Church View.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Rugby Road, Barby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Rugby Road, Barby from the junction of Ware Road to Rugby Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Ware Road, Kilsby Road, Barby Road, Main Road, Rugby Road, A428 and Barby Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Northampton Road, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Northampton Road, Long Buckby from the junction of Lodge Lane to EY7.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Preston Capes Road, Everdon from the junction of Woodyard Farm to Kingsbrook Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Frog Lane, Upper Boddington as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Frog Lane, Upper Boddington from the junction of Warwick Road to Warwick Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during reinstatement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Warwick Road.
