Sullart Street, Cockermouth - Temporary No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading Restriction due to Utility Works

What is happening?

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2362 SULLART STREET, COCKERMOUTH)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) (NO.2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of the U2362 Sullart Street, Cockermouth, (east side) from its junction with Woodville Park, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 40m.

The Order will come into operation on 5 January 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day between 0930 and 1530 hours and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
