Dalry Side Streets - Temporary Road Restrictions
What is happening?

(Dalry Side Streets) (Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation) Order 2025 – Temp/25/142
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing, footway improvement and traffic calming works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle on any part of both sides of (i) Caledonian rd; (ii) Caledonian Cres; (iii) Caledonian pl; (iv) orwell pl; and (v) orwell Ter. There is no available diversion with respect to the closure of (ii) Caledonian Cres, where local access will be maintained where practical. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the closures of: (i) Caledonian rd – Dalry Rd, Caledonian Pl and Caledonian Cres; (iii) Caledonian pl – Dalry Rd, Orwell Pl and Caledonian Cres; (iv) orwell pl – Dalry Rd, Orwell Ter and Caledonian Cres; and (v) orwell Ter – Dalry Rd, Orwell Pl and Caledonian Cres. The road closure of Caledonian Rd shall not be enacted at the same time as the road closures of Caledonian Cres, Caledonian Pl and Orwell Pl; the road closure of Caledonian Cres shall not be enacted at the same time as the road closures of Caledonian Rd, Caledonian Pl, Orwell Pl and Orwell Ter; the road closure of Caledonian Pl shall not be enacted at the same time as the road closure of Caledonian Cres and Orwell Pl; the road closure of Orwell Pl shall not be enacted at the same time as the road closures of Caledonian Cres and Orwell Ter; and the road closure of Orwell Ter shall not be enacted at the same time as the road closures of Caledonian Cres, Caledonian Pl and Orwell Pl. The Order shall have effect from 08/12/25 to 16/05/26.
