C99 Hilton, Horndean - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
(C99 HILTON, HORNDEAN) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (C99 Hilton, Horndean)
(Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 December 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C99 at Hilton, Horndean.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C99, B6437, B6461 and C99 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
