What is happening?
THE SWALE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (BOURNE PLACE) ORDER 2019
(VARIATION No. 6) 2026
Notice is hereby given that SWALE BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make the above Order under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, having obtained the consent of the Kent County Council in accordance with Section 39(3) of the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act -
The Order will Revise the current Car Park Tariff as follows;

A copy of the proposed Order, any Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the
Reception Desk, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HT between 10.00am and 12.00 noon from Friday 12th December 2025.
If you wish to object to a proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the Parking Services Manager quoting the name of the Order to, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HT or to the following email address ParkingConsultations@Swale.gov.uk by 12 noon on Monday 12th January 2026. Indications of support for the proposals are welcome and should be sent to the same address.
