Swale, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make
the following Orders.
SWALE AREA
Clockhouse Lane, Boughton Under Blean, ME13 9LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Clockhouse Lane, Boughton Under Blean from 18th December 2025 with estimated completion by 19th December 2025, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction with Brenley Lane and Brenley Farm Track, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Selling Road, Brenley Lane, Clockhouse Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Faversham Road, Newnham, ME9 0LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2025
To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Faversham Road, Newnham from 18th December 2025 with estimated completion by 19th December 2025, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between ‘Whitehall’ and ‘Martlesham’, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Faversham Road, A2 London Road, Lynsted Lane, The Street, Christophers Row, Doddington Lane, Chequers Hill, The Street, Doddington Lane, The Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
