Dover, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make
the following Orders.

DOVER AREA

Felderland Lane, Worth, CT13 0DQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Felderland Lane, Worth, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Nursery Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Felderland Lane, A256 Sandwich Road, A258 Deal Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.



Heronden Road, Eastry (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Heronden Road, Eastry, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside unit 4, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Heronden Road, Thornton Lane, Thornton Road, C230 Un-named Road From Thornton Road To Sandwich Road, Sandwich Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.



Various Roads, Dover (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow lining works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Various Roads, Dover, on or after 15th December 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

Closures will be imposed between the hours of 00:00 and 05:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

A256 Buckland Avenue will be closed the entire length.

A256 Barton Road will be closed the entire length.

A256 Frith Road will be closed the entire length.

The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via A256 Crabble Hill, A256 London Road, A256 Whitfield Hill, Dover Road, A2 J A256 Roundabout, A2 Between Whitfield Roundabout And Junction With A256, A2 Between Junction With A256 And Duke Of Yorks Roundabout, A2 Jubilee Way, A20 Townwall Street, A256 York Street, A256 Priory Road, A256 High Street and Bridge Street.

A256 Maison Dieu Road will be closed between the junctions of Pencester Road and Castle Street.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pencester Road, Biggin Street, Priory Street, A256 York Street, A20 Townwall Street and A256 Woolcomber Street.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
