The Hammersmith and Fulham (Stopping-Up of Highways Access) (Hammersmith Grove) Order 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, hereby gives notice that it made an Order under Section 124 of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, to stop up a private means of access at Hammersmith Grove, London W6.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to stop up the private means of access shown hatched on the deposited plan and described in the Schedule below, in order to enable the delivery of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and public realm improvements in Hammersmith Grove as per planning permission granted under permission 2021/01783/FUL.
3. Schedule: The proposed area of highway access to be stopped up is the northern access to Grove House, located at Hammersmith Grove, London W6, as shown on the deposited plan titled: HAMMERSMITH GROVE LONDON W6, Drawing No. 82080/25.
4. Deposited Plan: A copy of the deposited plan may be inspected at the offices of Hammersmith and Fulham Council, Climate Change and Transport, The Place Department, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU during normal office hours.
5. A copy of the Order, the Councils statement of reasons for making the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
6. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representations should send a statement in writing to the following; Climate Change and Transport, The Place Department, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk ,until the expiration of 28 days from the date on which the notice is published.
