Notice of Public Path Order

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 section 257 and Paragraph 1 of Schedule 14

Gedling Borough Council

The Gedling Borough Council (Calverton Footpath 22) Public Path Diversion Order 2025

The above order was made on 3 December 2025. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath commencing at a point, SK 6006 4872 and marked A, proceeding in a south westerly, then generally westerly and finally generally southerly direction to a point, SK 6004 4852, marked B on the Order Map and create an alternative footpath instead commencing at a point, SK 6006 4872 and marked A, proceeding in a south easterly, generally southerly, generally south-south-westerly, southerly and finally westerly direction, to a point, SK 6004 4852, marked B on the Order Map.

A copy of the order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge until 13 January 2026 at the offices of Gedling Borough Council, Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LU between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm on Mondays to Thursdays and between 9.00am and 4.30pm on Fridays (excluding bank holidays) by appointment only. Copies of the Order can also be obtained there free of charge. In addition copies of the Order and the Order Map are also available on Gedling Borough Council website at https:// pawam.gedling.gov.uk/online-applications and using reference 2025/0129

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Claire Turton, Principal Planning Officer, Gedling Borough Council, Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LU or via email to Claire.turton@gedling.gov.uk and must be received no later than 13 January 2026. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Gedling Borough Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
