What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (B692 FOSSE WAY, BINGHAM (40 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 (8399A)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Bingham in the Borough of Rushcliffe in the County of Nottinghamshire.
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.

B692 FOSSE WAY, BINGHAM
• From its junction with the A6097 roundabout in a southwesterly direction for 770 metres

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 10th DECEMBER 2025
The 40 mph Speed Limit has been introduced to ensure it is more in keeping with the character of the road and to improve road safety.
