What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC146943056: The City of Manchester (Broseley Avenue, Didsbury East Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Broseley Avenue.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate installing a new customer connection.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 11th December 2025 to the 19th December 2025. The order shall come into operation on the 11th December 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
