ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC147040647: The City of Manchester (Stephens Road, Withington Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Stephens Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: (1) Heyscroft Road, Fairholme Road, School Grove, Ashdene Road vice versa (2) Stephens Road, Brookleigh Road, School Grove, Fairholme Road, Heyscroft Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate unlooping works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 2nd December 2025 to the 15th December 2025. The order shall come into operation on the 2nd December 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
