LOCAL AUTHORITIES’ TRAFFIC ORDERS (PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) AND WALES REGULATIONS 1996 as amended

Notice is hereby given that under the powers contained in Section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, South Ribble Borough Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the Council of the Borough of South Ribble (Off-Street Parking Places) Variation Order No. 3 2026 the effect of which will be:

To designate the following car parks as off-street long stay Pay and Display car parks: Worden Park Main Car Park, Leyland. Mon – Fri:
 2 hours free (time of arrival ticket required) – no return within 3 hours
 Up to 3 hours £2
 Up to 5 hours £5
 All day £8
Worden Park Overflow Car Park, Leyland. Mon – Fri:
 2 hours free (time of arrival ticket required) – no return within 3 hours
 Up to 3 hours £2
 Up to 5 hours £5
 All day £8
 Student Permit £350 annually
(Student permits would only be valid term time Monday to Friday)
Worden Hall Car Park, Leyland. Seven days a week:
 Blue badge holders
 Long Stay Permit Holders
 Tenant Permit Holders

It is intended that these arrangements shall come into effect on 25 March 2026. The proposed Variation Order and Statement of Reasons are available for inspection at Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. Alternatively, these can be viewed on the Council’s website at

www.southribble.gov.uk/parking

Any person wishing to make a representation relating to the proposed Variation Order must do so in writing stating the grounds for objection or support to Legal Services at the following address: Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH or via email to

within 21 days following the date of this Notice.
