What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(NORTH END CLOSE, IPPLEPEN)
ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC


NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 12/12/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 18/12/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: NORTH END CLOSE, IPPLEPEN, (FROM THE JUNCTION OF NORTH STREET TO OUTSIDE NUMBER 1) THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: ROAD FROM WESTCOTT LANE TO TOLL COTTAGE, DOCCOMBE
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - B3212, SIX MILL HILL, FARRANT’S HILL, B3193, B3344, LE MOLAY-LITTLY WAY, STATION ROAD, MONKS WAY, A382, STATION ROAD, CROSS ST, EXETER ROAD & VICE VERSA.

ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY 20MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 5/1/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 27/3/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 20 miles per hour on the sections and No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a direction other than that indicated by the one way street traffic signs. of Affected Roads when temporary traffic signing is in place.
Roads affected: SANDY LANE, & ELM GROVE DRIVE.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: ELM GROVE RD WORKS.

(ELM GROVE ROAD, DAWLISH)
ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY 20MPH SPEED LIMIT
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.
From 5/1/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 27/3/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 20 miles per hour on the sections of Affected Roads when temporary traffic signing is in place. And No person shall except upon the direction or with permission of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load and unload at any time on any day on any of the lengths of road specified.
Roads affected: ELM GROVE ROAD, DAWLISH
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: MANHOLES & CHAMBER WORKS.
