Denholme - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Telecommunication Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

OLD ROAD/STATION ROAD, DENHOLME

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Old Road / Station Road, Denholme intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Old Road / Station Road, as follows:

• Old Road – from its junction with Main Road to a point outside No. 17 Old Road.

• Station Road – from its junction with Old Road to its junction with Stradmore Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Main Road, Knowles Street, Stradmore Road, Albion Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 15th December 2025 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 15th December 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
