(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
The Council proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following length of road. A 28 metre length of Bramwell Terrace Rear, Consett to the rear of Numbers 8 to 11 Bramwell Terrace to enable manhole repair works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of the closure, no alternative diversion will be available to vehicular traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8am on Monday 5/1/2026 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
