Strawberry Lane, Kings Sombourne - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Connection Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – STRAWBERRY LANE, KINGS SOMBOURNE, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Strawberry Lane between its junction with Court Lane and continuing to a point 225 metres South on Strawberry Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Winchester Road, Chalk Hill, Chalk Vale, Strawberry Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 15th December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
