Ar 5 Rhagfyr 2025, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a phob pŵer galluogi arall, Orchymyn gyda’r effaith gyffredinol y bydd yn drosedd i unrhyw gerbyd aros ar unrhyw adeg (gan gynnwys at ddibenion llwytho/dadlwytho) yn Herbert Street (ar ochr y de-orllewin) o bwynt 40 metr i’r de-ddwyrain o’r gyffordd â Cross Place am 80 metr i’r de-ddwyrain (i’w phen caeëdig).

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn diogelu’r cyhoedd rhag perygl a daw i rym ar ddydd Mawrth 9 Rhagfyr 2025.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Herbert Street, Caerdydd) (Gwahardd Aros Dros Dro) 2020”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(HERBERT STREET, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING/LOADING) ORDER 2025

On the 5th December 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order with the general effect that it shall be an offence for any vehicle to wait at any time (including for the purposes of loading/unloading) in Herbert Street (on its southwest side) from a point 40 metres southeast of its junction with Cross Place for a distance of 80 metres southeast (to its closed end).

The Order is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public and will come into operation on Tuesday 9th December 2025.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

The Order is known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Herbert Street, Cardiff) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting/Loading) Order 2025”.
