Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Order

The Cornwall Council (Public Footpath No. 161 (Part) Wendron) (Treloar Farm) Public Path Diversion Order 2025

On 18 November 2025, Cornwall Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert a length of Public Footpath number 161 in the Parish ofWendron commencing at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 161 Wendron to be retained approximately 70 metres east-south-east of "The Old Dairy• at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SW 69629/30222, then continuing in a generally westerly then west-north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 195 metres to its point where it has a junction with another part of Public Footpath 161 Wendron to be retained approximately 120 metres west of "The Old Dairy" at OSGR SW 69444/30258 to a revised line commencing at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 161 Wendron to be retained 70 metres east-south-east of "The Old Dairy" at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SW 69629/30222 then continuing in a generally west-north-westerly then south-south-westerly then north-westerly then westerly then north-westerly direction for a distance of 258 metres terminating at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 161 Wendron to be retained approximately 120 metres west of "The Old Dairy" at OSGR SW 69444/30258.

A copy of the order and order map may be downloaded from Cornwall Council's website at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment/countryside/public-pathorders/ confirmed-public-path-orders/ and have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at Helston Library and Information Service, Trengrouse Way, Helston, TR13 SAG between the hours of 9:30am to 5:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays or between the hours of 1 O:OOam to 1 :OOpm on Saturdays. Alternatively copies of the order and order map may be obtained free of charge from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk.

The Order comes into force on the date on which Cornwall Council certify that the terms of Article 1 of the Order have been complied with. but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any of the provisions contained in it. on the ground that that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act. within six weeks from the date of this notice, make application to the High Court.
