What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D452 Watery Lane, Shustoke

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from B4114 Coleshill Road to Station Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 9 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: B4114 Coleshill Road, Station Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

D626 Old Watling Street & B41160 Long Street North Bound, Atherstone

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Station Street to the A5.
Reason for Order: Structural patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 8 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: A5, Merevale Lane, The Common, Bentley Common, Coleshill Road, Coleshill Road, Station Street and vice versa. Please Note: Access to Long Street can be made from the A5 east bound.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel:03452 415 302.

Hurley Common, Kingsbury

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of a boundary box and meter.
Order Commences: 8 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Trinity Road, Watling Street, A5, Boot Hill, Hill Top, The Common, Twenty One Oaks, Windmill Lane, Wigston Hill, Atherstone Lane, Atherstone Road, Knowle Hill and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

Park Avenue, Polesworth

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works for replacement of an existing telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 10 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Park Road, St Helena Road, Grendon Road, Common Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: M J Quinn, Tel: 01543 547 118.

Station Road, Polesworth

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable pole testing works.
Order Commences: 8 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 December 2025.
Access & Diversion: Station Road, High Street, Stipers Hill, Linden Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

Grendon Road, Polesworth

Order Effect: A 30mph Speed Limit will be imposed from the existing 30mph speed limit and continuing easterly for a distance of 500 metres.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the contractors replacing a telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 23 December 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 December 2025.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
