For sub-paragraph (a) above: Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access while works are in place, and all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. For subparagraph (b) above: The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police. For sub-paragraph (c) above: Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

Schedule
sub-paragraph (a): prohibit any person from entering or proceeding on foot or by any other means in:
(a) that length of Murray Road (B3121), Spinney Hill (B3121), and Church Road (B3121), Addlestone as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A320) Guildford Road, (A319) Chobham Road, and St Peters Way (A320) to its junction with (A318) High Street, Addlestone.
Alternative Route: (A320) Guildford Road, (A320) St Peters Way, (A317) St Peters Way, (A318) Chertsey Road, and (A318) High Street, Addlestone, or this route in reverse.
(b) the entire length of Foxhills Road (D3046) Chertsey. Alternative Route: Stonehill Road, (B386) Holloway Hill, (A320) Guildford Road, and (A319) Chobham Road, or this route in reverse.
(c) that length of Chobham Road (A319), Ottershaw and Chertsey Road (A319) Chobham as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A320) Guildford Road and (B3121) Murray Road to its junction with (C9) Philpot Lane. Alternative Route: (A319) Chertsey Road, (A319) High Street, Chobham, (A3046) Station Road, (A3046) Chobham Road, (A245) Shores Road, (A320) Chertsey Road, and (A320) Guildford Road, or this route in reverse.
(d) that length of Guildford Road (A320) Chertsey and Chertsey Road (A320) Woking as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A319) Chobham Road and (B3121) Murray Road to its junction at the roundabout with (A245) Six Crossroads Roundabout. Alternative Route: (A245) Shores Road, (A3046) Chobham Road, (A3046) Station Road, (A3046) High Street, Chobham, (A319) Chertsey Road, and (A319) Chobham Road, or this route in reverse.
(e) the entire length of Brox Road (C129) Ottershaw. Alternative Route: (A320) Guildford Road and (B3121) Murray Road, or this route in reverse.
(f) the entire length of Slade Road (D3051) Ottershaw. Alternative Route: Brox Road, (A320) Guildford Road, and (B3121) Murray Road, or this route in reverse.
(g) the entire length of Holloway Hill (B386) Lyne. Alternative Route: Stonehill Road, Foxhills Road, and (A320) Guildford Road, or this route in reverse.
(h) that length of Hardwick Lane (C127) Lyne, and Lyne Crossing Road (C127) Lyne as extends from its junction with (B386) Holloway Hill to its junction with (C126) Lyne Lane. Alternative Route: Lyne Lane, (B386) Longcross Road, Stonehill Road, Foxhills Road, (A320) Guildford Road, and (B386) Holloway Hill, or this route in reverse.
(i) The entire length of Green Lane (C127) Chertsey. Alternative Route: (A320) Guildford Road, (B3121) Murray Road, (B3121) Spinney Hill, (B3121) Church Road, and (A318) High Street, Addlestone, or this route in reverse. sub-paragraph (b): prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding at a speed greater than 30 MPH in:
(a) that length of Spinney Hill (A3121) Addlestone as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.46 and No.48 Spinney Hill to its junction with (B3121) Murray Road.
(b) that length of Murray Road (B3121) Ottershaw as extends from its junction with (A3121) Spinney Hill to its junction at the roundabout with (A320) Guildford Road.
(c) that length of Foxhills Road (D3046) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (D3045) Stonehill Road and for a distance of 703 metres in a south easterly direction along Foxhills Road.
(d) that length of Chobham Road (A319) Ottershaw as extends from its junction with (D3048) Chobham Close to its junction with (A319) Chertsey Road.
(e) that length of Chertsey Road (A319) Chobham as extends from its junction with (A319) Chobham Road to its junction with (C9) Philpot Lane.
(f) that length of Guildford Road (A320) Chertsey as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A319) Chobham Road and (B3121) Murray Road to its junction with (A320) Chertsey Road.
(g) that length of Chertsey Road (A320) Woking as extends from its junction with (A320) Guildford Road to its junction at the roundabout with (A245) Six Crossroads Roundabout.
(h) the entire length of Holloway Hill (B386) Lyne.
(i) the entire length of Hardwick Lane (C127) Lyne.
(j) that length of Lyne Crossing Road (C127) Lyne as extends from its junction with (C127) Hardwick Lane to its junction with (C126) Lyne Lane. sub-paragraph (c): prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles in:
(a) that length of the eastbound and westbound carriageway of Murray Road (B3121), Spinney Hill (B3121), and Church Road (B3121), Addlestone as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A320) Guildford Road, (A319) Chobham Road, and St Peters Way (A320) to its junction with (A318) High Street, Addlestone.
(b) the entire length of the north-westbound and south-eastbound carriageway of Foxhills Road (D3046) Chertsey.
(c) that length of the south-eastbound and north-westbound carriageway of Chobham Road (A319), Ottershaw and Chertsey Road (A319) Chobham as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A320) Guildford Road and (B3121) Murray Road to its junction with (C9) Philpot Lane.
(d) that length of the northbound and southbound carriageway of Guildford Road (A320) Chertsey and Chertsey Road (A320) Woking as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A319) Chobham Road and (B3121) Murray Road to its junction at the roundabout with (A245) Six Crossroads Roundabout.
(e) the entire length of the northbound and southbound carriageway of Brox Road (C129) Ottershaw.
(f) the entire length of the north-eastbound and south-westbound carriageway of Slade Road (D3051) Ottershaw.
(g) the entire length of the westbound and eastbound carriageway of Holloway Hill (B386) Lyne.
(h) the entire length of the northbound and southbound carriageway of Hardwick Lane (C127) Lyne.
(i) that length of the westbound and eastbound carriageway of Lyne Crossing Road (C127) Lyne as extends from its junction with (C127) Hardwick Lane to its junction with (C126) Lyne Lane.
(j) the entire length of the north-westbound and south-eastbound carriageway of Green Lane (C127) Chertsey.

Northcote Lane (D216) Shamley Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Northcote Lane (D216) Shamley Green as extends from its junction with (B2128) Cranleigh Road, (B2128) Guildford Road, and (D212) Norley Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “Lee Crouch”. Alternative Route – Northcote Lane, Littleford Lane, Blackheath Lane and Wonersh Common. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 09 January 2026 is required to facilitate telegraph pole replacement works and/ or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Morrisons Telecom Services Ltd within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 2pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via operatives on site. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Old Esher Close (D3900) Hersham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Old Esher Close (D3900) Hersham as extends from its south-western junction with (D3900) Old Esher Road and (D3901) Mole Road south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 15 metres. Alternative Route – via the north-eastern junction with Old Esher Road. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 12 January 2026 is required to facilitate mains gas replacement works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SGN within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 3 Weeks between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Due to the nature of the works there will be no access through the closure area and all traffic including residents and the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Sandy Lane (D221) Albury
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Sandy Lane (D221) Albury that is crossed by the rail over road bridge and for a distance of 20 metres to either side. There is no applicable diversion route. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 20 January 2026 is required to facilitate railway bridge inspection works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of XIEAD within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 2 nights between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via marshalls on site. There will be no vehicular access through the works area whilst works are in progress. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Squires Road (D6273) Shepperton
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Squires Road (D6273) Shepperton as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No. 16 and No. 14 Squires Road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of No. 6 Squires Road. Alternative Route–Squires Road; Squires Bridge Road; Laleham Road; Wood Road; and Squires Road.
This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 05 January 2026 is required to facilitate new mains electrical connection works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of UKPN within the length of road described in this notice.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 5pm Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Thorncombe Street (D199) Bramley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Thorncombe Street (D199) Bramley as extends from its junction with Selhurst Common Road (D197) to the access for the property known as “Stonelands”.
Alternative route – Thorncombe Street, Alldens Hill, Alldens Lane, Munstead Heath Road, B2130 (Hascombe Road), Lodkin Hill and Thorncombe Street, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable M Group Telecom to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 January 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
