Gloucesershire - No Waiting, Stopping, Or Loading

active travel improvements developed under the Active Travel Fund.

There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

In order to facilitate the works it will be necessary to suspend that part of the Gloucestershire County Council on Street Parking Order 2017 insofar as it relates to parking bays as described in Zone J Alvin Street is hereby suspended for the duration of the works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 5th January 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/ times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 5th July 2027.

Alternative Routes: as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.
