Clock Barn Lane (D162) Busbridge and Salt Lane (C32) Hydestile
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 28 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit
vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:-
(a) Salt Lane (C32) Hydestile as extends from its junction with New Road (X94006) to the access for the property known as “Busbridge Copse Farm”; and
(b) Clock Barn Lane (D162) Busbridge as extends from the access for “The Cottage” to a point 50 metres east.
Alternative route – (a) Salt Lane, Hambledon Road and Clock Barn Lane, or this route in reverse. (b) Clock Barn Lane, Salt Lane and Hambledon Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Thames Water and Openreach to facilitate new service connections and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 December 2025 in two phases. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. (a) is anticipated to commence on 14 December 2025 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 3.00pm.
Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. (b) is anticipated to commence on 15 December 2025 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm but the closure is anticipated to be in force for 24-hours per day. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Station Road (B364) Thames Ditton
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 28 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit:- (a) vehicles from waiting in that length of Station Road (B364) Thames Ditton as extends from its junction with Watts Road (B364) to the western boundary of the property known as “14 Station Road”; and (b) pedestrians from using the footway adjacent to the length of road in (a).
Alternative route – (b) footway provided.
This Order is required to enable M Group to facilitate a new service connection and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 December 2025 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and waiting restriction, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Woodlands Road (D4027) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 28 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodlands Road (D4027) Guildford as extends from its junction with Woking Road (A320) to access for Willow Court and Darwin Court.
Alternative route – A320 (Woking Road), Woking Road and Old Farm Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable ASL Limited to facilitate a new sewer connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 December 2025 for 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Cottimore Lane (D3814) Walton-On-Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2025
On 3 December 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to; (1) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Cottimore Lane (D3814) Walton-On-Thames which extends from its junction with Lancaster Court (D3814) to its junction with Kingsbridge Road (D3814) and (2) suspend “The Surrey County Council Russell Road (D3802) and Cottimore Lane (D3814) Walton-On-Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in Schedule 2 of that Order.
Alternative Route: Terrace Road, High Street, Hersham Road, Rydens Road, Ambleside Avenue, Cottimore Lane or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to facilitate water service pipe replacement works and/or other associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 17 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and suspension of the Order, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for residents will be maintained via the use of road plates Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained via signed diversion to the opposite footway. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no vehicular access through the works area and all vehicular traffic including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion routes.
The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/ or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
Binscombe (D98) Farncombe
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 3 December 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Binscombe (D98) Farncombe which extends from its junction with The Avenue (D98) to a point in line with Lamp Column N36. Alternative Route: Binscombe, Binscombe Lane, Farncombe Street, Station Road, Green Lane or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate water connection works and/or other associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days, between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times as will segregated access for pedestrians and cyclists.
The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
The Street (C119) Tongham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 3 December 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Street (C119) Tongham as extends from its junction with (D4002) Grange Road to its junction with (X119) New Road.

This Order is required to facilitate replacement telegraph pole works for, or on behalf of Barr Engineering Services Ltd.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 8 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Holmbury Hill Road (D280) Holmbury St Mary
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 3 December 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Holmbury Hill Road (D280) Holmbury St Mary as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Somerset Hill to its junction with the access to the property known as “Pipers Lea”.
Alternative Route: Holmbury Hill Road, Pitland Street, (B2126) Horsham Road, (B2126) Miles Hill, (B2126) Holmbury Lane, (B2127) Ockley Road, Holmbury Road, and Holmbury Hill Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Barr Engineering Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Munstead Heath Road (C31) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
The “Surrey County Council Munstead Heath Road (C31) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” which was made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the grounds that works were being or proposed to be executed on, or near, the above-mentioned roads and came into operation on 23 July 2025 was due to expire on 22 July 2026 and which prohibited vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Munstead Heath Road (C31) Godalming as extends from its junction with (X94046) Munstead View Road to its junction with the access to the property known as “The Gables” has been extended until 22 January 2027.
This Temporary Traffic Order is required to facilitate mains gas replacement and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SGN.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the additional 6 month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commenced on 23 July 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Stonehill Road (D3045) Ottershaw
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Stonehill Road (D3045) Ottershaw as extends from the western boundary of the property known as “Beggars Roost” to the access for Forest Gate Farm.
Alternative route – Stonehill Road, Old Chertsey Road, A319 (Chertsey Road and Chobham Road) and Foxhills Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Cadent Gas Ltd to facilitate a new service connection and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 January 2026 for 9 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Elstead Road (C21) Seale
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Elstead Road (C21) Seale as extends from its junction with (C23) Littleworth Road to its junction with the access to the property known as “Owls Hatch Lodge”.
Alternative Route: Elstead Road, Seale Lane, Guildford Road, Crooksbury Road, Sands Road, and Littleworth Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Barr Engineering Services Ltd.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Fort Road (D4015) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Fort Road (D4015) Guildford as extends from its access to the property boundary line of No.29 Fort Road to its access with the footpath leading to the “Pewley Down Nature Reserve”.
This Order is required to facilitate safe access to the building site entrance for, or on behalf of C Curtis Building Ltd.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 months, between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm, during the 6-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 01 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services vehicles will be maintained, in an emergency situation only.
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained via one side of the footpath along Fort Road. It will not be possible to maintain vehicular access for residents and businesses. No sole access will be affected by this closure. There is no diversion route for this closure.

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This Order is required to facilitate S278 works for, or on behalf of Blaze Construction Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 stages, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 January 2026.

This Order is required to facilitate new electrical connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 stages, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Bittams Lane (D3030) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (A320) Guildford Road to its junction with (D3029) Hillcrest Avenue. Alternative Route: Bittams Lane, Green Lane, and (A320) Guildford Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate desilting works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Common Lane (D3080) New Haw.
This Order is required to facilitate underground cabling works for, or on behalf of Buko Traffic and Safety. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Manor Way (D3187) Egham.
This Order is required to facilitate service pipe relay works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if required, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.
The Knoll (D7026) Chertsey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of The Knoll (D7026) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (D7026) Townpath – Crown Rise to The Knoll to its junction with (X3020) Hanworth Lane.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom mast upgrade works for, or on behalf of Clearview Services Group.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 05 January 2026
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no other vehicular access through the closure while works are in place. There is no alternative route for this closure. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
Church Approach (D3214) Stanwell
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Church Approach (D3214) Stanwell as extends from its junction with (C238) High Street and for a distance of 20 metres in a south westerly direction along Station Approach.
Alternative Route: High Street, and Church Approach, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate chamber replacement/repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if required, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. All other vehicular traffic, including the emergency services vehicles will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Knowle Lane (D184) Cranleigh
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will temporary prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Knowle Lane (D184) Cranleigh as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Old Glasshouse” to its junction with the access to the property known as “Kiln House”.
Alternative Route:Knowle Lane, (B2128) High Street, (B2128) Horsham Road, (B2128) Cox Green, Baynards Lane, Hogspudding Lane, and Knowle Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to mains water replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 months, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 05 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency services vehicles will be required to follow the diversion route.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to;
(a) prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule of this Notice;
(b) impose a 30mph speed limit on the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule of this Notice;
(c) prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule of this Notice; and,
(d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Foxhills Road (D3046) Ottershaw (40 MPH and 30 MPH Speed Limits) Order 2011” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(e) Suspend “The Borough of Runnymede (Church Road/Spinney Hill/ Murray Road Addlestone (30 mph and 40 mph Speed Limits) Order 1980” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(f) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Borough of Surrey Heath and Borough of Runneymede 30 mph Speed Limit (Old Guildford Road (D3537) Frimley Green) and 50 mph Speed Limit (Chertsey Road (A319) Chobham and Chobham Road (A319) Ottershaw) Order 2016” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(g) Suspend “Borough Council of Woking (Various Roads) (50 MPH Speed Limit) Order 1998” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(h) Suspend “Borough of Runnymede (Part of A320, Guildford Road, Ottershaw) (50 mph Speed Limit) Order 1999” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(i) Suspend “Borough of Runnymede (Various Roads) 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 1981” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(j) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in the Borough of Runnymede (30 mph and 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2022” insofar as it affects that length of road described in the schedule of this Notice;
(k) Suspend “The Borough of Surrey Heath Borough Council (High Street, Chobham) Weight Restriction Order 1989” in its entirety.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council/Grahams to facilitate the A320 HIF Scheme works, and other associated works, which are anticipated to be carried out over multiple phases. Works will be carried out as soon as possible, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 05 January 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, and restrictions, which are anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs
