(HEOL BROOM, MAWDLAM) CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR 2025 RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Mawdlam wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi creu Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd bod angen cau’r ffordd ar gyfer cysylltiad gwasanaeth newydd gyda'r ffordd nad yw'n ddigon llydan ar gyfer parth diogelwch digonol. Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 10/12/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 08:00 a 18:00 ar 10/12/2025, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, hyd at uchafswm o 18 mis. Atodlen - Ni fydd unrhyw berson yn achosi i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Heol Broom, Mawdlam, am oddeutu 95 metr o'r gyffordd â Heol Las, ger "Brynteg" am bellter o 10 metr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd Heol Broom, Heol Las, Heol Drewi, Porthcawl Road, Tydraw Lane, Heol Broom ac i'r gwrthwyneb. Ni ellir rhoi mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu na’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016. BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(HEOL BROOM, MAWDLAM) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Mawdlam in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to a road closure being required for a new service connection with the road not being wide enough for a sufficient safety zone. The Order will come into force on the 10/12/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00am to 18:00pm on 10/12/2025, or until such time as the works are completed, up to a maximum of 18 months. Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Heol Broom, Mawdlam, for approximately 95 metres from its junction with Heol Las, adjacent to “Brynteg” for a distance of 10 metres. The alternative route for vehicles is via Heol Broom, Heol Las, Heol Drewi, Porthcawl Road, Tydraw Lane, Heol Broom, and vice versa. Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
