WAITING RESTRICTIONS - OXFORD STREET, CASTLE WARD NOTICE 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea intends to make an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act") the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule(s) below.
A copy of the proposed Order, Statement of Reasons and an appropriate plan may be inspected during normal office hours at the Civic Centre Oystermouth Road Swansea SA1 3SN. Any objections to the proposals should be submitted in writing setting out the reasons thereto to reach the undersigned at the above address or via E-mail at Legal.TrafficNotices@swansea.gov.uk by the 29th December 2025 quoting reference DVT-284836/AVR.

SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked as far as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME OXFORD STREET
On its southern side from a point 10 metres of its junction with the western kerbline of Little Gam Street for a distance of 13 metres in a south westerly direction. On its southern side from a point 35 metres of its junction with the western kerbline of Little Gam Street for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction.
PROHIBITION OF WAITING MONDAY TO SATURDAY 8.30AM TO 6PM
LITTLE GAM STREET
On its eastern side from the northern kerbline of Western Street for a distance of 50 meters in a northerly direction. On its eastern side from the southern kerbline of Oxford Street for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction.

PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME
OXFORD STREET
On its southern side from the eastern kerbline of Little Gam Street for a distance of 3 metres in a easterly direction . On its southern side from the western kerbline of Little Gam Street for a distance of 13 metres in a south westerly direction.On its southern side from a point 18 metres from the western kerbline of Little Gam Street for a distance of 3 metres in south westerly direction.
LITTLE GAM STREET
On its eastern side from the northern kerbline of Western Street for a distance of 50 meters in a northerly direction. On its eastern side from the southern kerbline of Oxford Street for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction.

LIMITED WAITING 1 HOUR NO RETURN WITH 2 HOURS, PERMIT HOLDERS EXEMPT OXFORD STREET
On its southern side from a point 35 metres from the junction with the western kerbline of Litle Gam Street for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction.
SCHEDULE 4 PROHIBITION OF WAITING MONDAY TO SATURDAY 8.30AM TO 6PM
ACCESS LANE BETWEEN OXFORD STREET AND WESTERN STREET PARALLEL TO DILLWYN STREET
On its eastern side from the northern kerbline of Western Street for a distance of 61 meters in a northerly direction. On its western side from the northern kerbline of Western Street for a distance of 60 meters in a northerly direction
