Tamworth – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Surface Dressing Preparation Works

What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along: Tamworth

Monks Way, Floredine Street, Ingram Pit Lane, Sharpe Street, Jasmine Road, Woodhouse Lane, Tamworth Road; Tamworth. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB147052318. The Order will come into operation on 19/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/6/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the surface dressing preparation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 15/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the duct laying works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 6/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 8/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Church St and Corporation St, Tamworth. The one-way and/or prohibition of entry orders will be temporarily revoked on Church St and Corporation St for the duration of the order. The Order will come into operation on 5/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the defective manhole cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
