Winchester – Temporary Road Closures due to Utility Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – VARIOUS ROADS, SPARSHOLT, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
Dean Lane between its junction with Westview Road and its junction with Lupin Gardens.
Salters Lane between its junction with Dean Lane and continuing to a point 50 metres North on Salters Lane.
Lanham Lane between its junction with Dean Lane and continuing to a point 50 metres South on Lanham Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Lanham Lane & Salters Lane - B3049, Dean Lane, Teg Down Meads.
Dean Lane - Woodman Lane, B3049.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 1st December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect IT Utility Services to complete utility works.
