What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
(TINTAGEL CRESCENT/ST PANCRAS AVENUE/ DOWNGATE GARDENS/ANTHONY GARDENS/ MYLOR CLOSE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING,UNOADING & PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in:
• Tintagel Crescent - for its entirety
• St Pancras Avenue - eastbound between Carnock Road and Honicknowle Lane
• Downgate Gardens - for its entirety

2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:
• St Pancras Avenue - for its entirety
• Tintagel Crescent - for its entirety
• Downgate Gardens - for its entirety

3. To prohibit pedestrians in:
• Antony Gardens - for its entirety
• Mylor Close - for its entirety

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading, unloading & pedestrians will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 5th January 2026 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the phased gas works will commence on the 5th January 2026 until 13th April 2026 24hrs
