Hopewell Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic To Installation Of A New Water Connection
What is happening?

HOPEWELL ROAD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Hopewell Road, Kingston upon Hull from a point adjacent to house number 276 to a point adjacent to house number 181.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during installation of a new water connection.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Grange Road and Lingdale Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 05/01/2026 at 8am and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 18 days, by 8pm on 23/01/2026.
